Utah Legal Analysis

The “Legal Analysis prepared for the Utah Commission for the Stewardship of Public Lands” is a detailed document, released in December of 2015, that spells out a careful and well documented case for transferring the public lands over to ALL willing western states.

The study not only identifies a legal framework by which states can pursue a public land transfer but ultimately recommends that Utah [and other western states] consider instituting litigation against the United States of America under the Original Jurisdiction of the United States Supreme Court.

Keep in mind – Should H.R. 1484 and/or bills like it be passed, litigation of such nature could be avoided.
